The Coen Foundation is an organization committed to improving the quality of life of families of impoverished communities in Central America. The foundation stands out for the Coen Family’s commitment and social investment philosophy that emphasizes capability development through education.
The main goal of the Coen Foundation is to support eradication of poverty and improve the living conditions of low-income people in Central America by facilitating access to social and economic development opportunities. To this end, the foundation currently implements programs and projects in the fields of education, health, environment, culture and social work. These programs stand out for their effectiveness and sustainability strategy, aimed at creating more and better opportunities for future generations.
The model currently employed in Nicaragua will be replicated all over Central America with the goal of reinforcing overall regional development in the areas where the Coen Group currently operates and provides thousands of jobs for local employees.
